Bible Challenge

  • September 2015

The most read book for the month of September was Joshua, with five readings. Seven books tied for second place, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, James, 2 John, 3 John, and Jude. Third place went to 2 Samuel, Isaiah, Luke, Colosians, 1 Thessalonians, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, and 1 John.

Thanks to your efforts, a total of 133 books of the Bible were read this month! Remember, we donate one dollar for every book that you read each month to provide Bibles to people who do not have them.

Year-to-Date, we have collectively read 940 books of the Bible. Great Job!

  • August 2015

We began the Bible Challenge in April of 2015, and as of September 1st, our congregation has read over 800 books of the Bible. For every book read, $1 is donated out of the Missions fund to buy Bibles for the spiritually hungry around the world. We give the money once a quarter, and so far, $266.00 has been donated to The Bible League, and another $266.00 to Gospel for Asia. We are all growing in the knowledge of His Word, while helping others to have access to it at the same time.

  • April 2015

The Bible Challenge is off to a great start! The congregation read 196 books for the month of April. That’s $196.00 towards buying Bibles to distribute! Keep up the good work! (If you did not yet turn in your book mark, go ahead and put it in the tray on the missions table, and we will count your books toward May).
